Amber May is a folk-Americana singer-songwriter from Northwestern Ontario. Ambers journey in music began early, singing from the age of three and penning her first songs by twelve. Amber started performing at local festivals and small gatherings, captivating audiences with her raw, soulful voice and authentic lyrics that echo the rugged beauty of her homeland.
After high school, Amber set out to Alberta to build a career as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic. Yet, her passion for music never waned, and the call to create became undeniable. Reaching a pivotal crossroads, she made the bold decision to trade her tools for a guitar, selling her belongings to move to Southern Ontario and pursue a life dedicated to music.
Since Amber’s return to music, Amber has been featured in Rrampt Magazine and has opened for notable artists such as Juno recipient Celeigh Cardinal and Jim White. She has also formed a powerhouse band and developed a striking solo presence.
